Today SNK has released a new gameplay trailer for Samurai Shodown, which focuses on newcomer Darli Dagger, and has finally given us an official release for the game; becoming available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC on the 27th of June.

Samurai Shodown is a series that has been around for quite a long time, originally releasing for the Neog Geo MVS in 1993, and now the series is getting a reboot that sees characters from the original games making a comeback, and some newcomers joining the series.

Darli Dagger was the very first character that SNK introduces us to in the brand-new Samurai Shodown, and she is no pushover; with her jagged saw sword Libertalia she can take on any enemy she comes across.

After more than a decade, Samurai Shodown is back! SNK is rebooting one of its most successful series, carrying on the legacy of past titles with a new game that retains the same thrilling battles of past titles in a graphically advanced package.

Samurai Shodown will be available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC in June of 2019.
