Bandai Namco's
SoulCalibur VI is only one month away and we're still getting announcements about new characters joining the roster—which is something fans simply cannot get enough of.
Last week we found out that veteran
Soul fighter, Cervantes, was joining the fight. While Cervantes may have been a given, the game is just around the corner and fans of the series may have begin to worry that some of the classic fighters may not be making a comeback.
Luckily, Bandai Namco doesn't cease to surprise us, gamers, by bringing back characters that have become staples to the series. Such is the case with Raphael, the Lord of the Night, as he is finally been introduced as a playable character in
SoulCalibur VI.
Raphael was first introduced in
SoulCalibur II and has not missed out on a single
SoulCalibur entry since his debut—becoming a series' regular, as well as a fan-favourite.
Today, we get a new trailer for
SoulCalibur VI that not only introduces us to Raphael, but also shows off some of his moves and fencing skills with his trsusty Flambert rapier sword.
Take a look:
SOULCALIBUR VI represents the latest entry in the premier weapons-based, head-to-head fighting series and continues the epic struggle of warriors searching for the legendary Soul Swords. Taking place in the 16th century, revisit the events of the original SOULCALIBUR to uncover hidden truths.
SoulCalibur VI will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on the 19th of October.
