Bandai Namco has officially revealed that the next DLC character for
SoulCalibur VI will be the fan-favourite Amy. The Albion-wielding heroin is technically the third DLC fighter joining the critically acclaimed fighting game's roster, following the recent inclusions of Tira and 2B from
NieR: Automata.
Amy debuted back in 2005 in
SoulCalibur III, with 2008's
SCIV being her last mainline appearance. 11 years later, Amy will return to the stage of history, available as a bonus character in the
SoulCalibur VI Season Pass (priced at $29,99), with one more character set to come in the relatively near future.
SCVI launched worldwide on October 19, 2018 for PS4, XO, and PC, giving you chance to duke it out not only as beloved Bandai Namco characters, but also Geralt of Rivia from CDP Red's
The Witcher series and Andrzej Sapkowski's novels, who's a guest fighter in
SCVI, just like
Assassin's Creed II's Ezio in
SCV.
The Japanese publisher has not revealed yet when Amy will join
SoulCalibur VI, but you can take a closer look at her impressive fighting style and special abilities in the gameplay trailer down below:
SOULCALIBUR VI represents the latest entry in the premier weapons-based, head-to-head fighting series and continues the epic struggle of warriors searching for the legendary Soul Swords. Taking place in the 16th century, revisit the events of the original SOULCALIBUR to uncover hidden truths.
SoulCalibur VI is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
