SoulCalibur VI is not coming out for a month, but Bandai Namco has managed to keep fans of the series interested as they keep announcing new characters, as well as revealing more information about the game.
In regards to the fighters, Bandai Namco has done a great job bringing back some of the most veteran fighters like Cervantes, Mitsurugi, Seigfreid, Nightmare, and Voldo—all of which have been around since the very first game in the series:
Soul Edge.
One fighter that caused a bit of controversy when she was left out of
SoulCalibur V, though, is Talim—who had been a series' regular since her introduction in
SoulCalibur II.
Today,
SoulCalibur VI producer Motohiro Okubo comments a bit more about Talim's return to the series, how feedback from fans on social media made Bandai Namco consider adding her in the latest
SoulCalibur entry, and a little bit about her fighting moves.
Take a look:
SOULCALIBUR VI represents the latest entry in the premier weapons-based, head-to-head fighting series and continues the epic struggle of warriors searching for the legendary Soul Swords. Taking place in the 16th century, revisit the events of the original SOULCALIBUR to uncover hidden truths.
SoulCalibur VI will be available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on the 19th of October.
