Reddit user Leakileaks seems to have an experience when it comes to ruining the publishers' plans. He was the one who leaked the list of characters (Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Enchantress and Atom) that will debut in the upcoming Injustice 2 DLC and his sources turned out to tell the truth. The user has another portion of news, and if you're a fan of Japanese brands, you should be more that happy.
Let's start with Capcom. Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition: Season 3 includes Sagat, Sakura, Cody, Sodom, plus we can expect Crimson Viper, Q, Necro, and Oro to join the roster in a free update. The issues with input lag won't be fixed until Season 4, because there are issues with Unreal Engine 4 and the whole process takes time. Moving to Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, Asura, Gill, and Lady should debut in the next update. There's also a chance we will be able to check out Green Goblin, Wolverine, Cyclops, Psylocke, Magneto, Storm, Deadpool, Doctor Doom, Daredevil, Asura, Lady, Gill, Rashid, Captain Commando, Nina, Deis, Regina, Gene, Vergil, Akuma, and Apollo Justice next summer.
The remake of Resident Evil 2 is a third-person game, we should see something from it around the end of the year, or at the beginning of 2018. Finally, we move to probably the biggest news, as Leakileaks reports that Capcom is developing Devil May Cry 5 and the project will be announced at PSX 2017 (December 9-10). Dante, Vergil and Nero will be playable characters.
Bandai Namco is working on a DLC for Dragon Ball FighterZ and Broly, Regular Gokuand Regular Vegeta should debut shortly. Soul Calibur VI should be shown to the public also at PSX and it's scheduled to release at the end of 2018 on PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch. Link will be a playable guest character.
Nintendo is planning to release a new Animal Crossing next year, Metroid Prime 4 is being developed by Namco. Mother 3 is "real", but for some reason the big N holds back the project. Blizzard will also support the system with Hearthstone for Switch. Square Enix is doing The World Ends With You 2 exclusively for the system.
These "leaks" sound fantastic, but before you get hyped, remember that we've heard juicy rumors before and most of them turned out to be false, so take Leakileaks's revelations with a pinch of salt.
