Street Fighter V: Champion Edition Season 5 has been recently announced by Capcom, and it will be adding content that promises to keep players coming back to the game to fight other players and become the true World Warrior.
This information was shared by CapcomUnity's official website, in which the development team for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition revealed that Season 5 is expected to be the game's final season, and that it will be adding 5 new characters, as well as three new stages.
The developers reveal that the reception to the game's Season 4 was so overwhelmingly positive that they decided to make one more to wrap things up. They also thank fans for their continuous support over the past 4 and a half years, and hoping that everyone is staying safe; promising to reveal more information about Street Fighter V: Champion Edition Season 5 later this Summer.
Here's where things get even more interesting, as Capcom also reveals that players will get a chance to design their own costume for Street Fighter V: Champion Edition, and that the contest has started today and through the 21st of July; where two participants will be selected, and their costumes will be added to the game in Season 5.
Capcom also shared a couple of images that give us a look at some new costumes designed by the Street Fighter V: Champion Edition development team, although they would not confirm whether these costumes are also being added to Season 5 or not; chances are that this is the case, however.
