A few weeks ago we found out that Yugi, from the popular
Yu-Gi-Oh manga/anime series, would be joining the fightin in Bandai Namco's crossover fighting game
Jump Force. The game still doesn't have an official release date but will become available in
February of 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
Bandai Namco's
Jump Force is already featuring an impressive roster that sees characters from the some of the most popular series from Weekly Shōnen Jump being transported to our reality and joining forces in order to save our universe, as well as their own.
The full roster of characters include Naruto and Sasuke from
Naruto, Goku, Vegeta, and Frieza from
Dragon Ball Z, Luffy, Sabo, Zoro, Sanji, and Blackbeard from
One Piece, Gon, Killua, Hisoka, and Kurapika from
Hunter X Hunter, Yusuke and Toguro from
Yu Yu Hakusho, Ichigo, Aizen, and Rukia from
Bleach, and Yugi from
Yu-Gi-Oh—making for a roster that could even rival that seen in the
Super Smash Bros. series.
Today, Bandai Namco has released a new character trailer that introduces us to
Yu-Gi-Oh's main character Yugi, as the trailer shows off some of the fighting moves he'll have in
Jump Force.
