Last month, Master Roshi was revealed to be the third character to join the roster in Bandai Namco and Arc System Works' Dragon Ball FighterZ as part of the game's Season 3 — which has already seen Kefla and Ultra Instinct Goku becoming playable characters.
Master Roshi has already been playable in previous games, but this version of Roshi will mostly be based on the one that was recently featured in Dragon Ball Super during the Tournament of Power, so most of his moveset comes from the aforementioned arc.
The developers didn't disclose when Master Roshi would become available, but they did reassure players that it would be at some point in September. Today, however, we may have finally been given an answer, but it seems Bandai Namco can't make up their mind on this.
Well, the good news is that Master Roshi is becoming available this week, as Bandai Namco releases an action-packed trailer that shows off the Turtle Hermit in all of his immortal glory, but the trailer itself mentions that he's joining Dragon Ball FighterZ on Friday the 18th of September.
Similarly, the trailer's descrption mentions that Master Roshi will actually become available this Wednesday the 16th of September. Whatever the case, Dragon Ball FighterZ players who have purchased Season 3 will be granted access to Master Roshi later this week.
