It's definitely exciting to finally get a brand-new entry in the Guilty Gear series, especially one that looks like an anime come to life. The developers at Arc System Works really know have to push the envelope in terms of graphics, and Guilty Gear - Strive - is definitive proof of it.

It isn't just the beautifully animated anime-like characters that have made the Guilty Gear series a household name, but the highly technical gameplay that some will argue that it puts to shame other renowned franchises in the video game fighting genre.

While Guilty Gear -Strive - may still be a few months away from releasing — we still don't know when it will launch, but the developers reassure it will be late this year — Arc System Works has decided to start releasing some videos to get players started.

Today, the developer has released two starter guide videos that introduce players to Guilty Gear series veterans Sol Badguy and Ky Kiske, and show off some of the characters' classic moves, and some of the many ways players have to start combos in Guilty Gear - Strive -.

Guilty Gear games usually always feature a thorough — and we really mean thorough — training mode for newcomers to get the hang of the game's mechanics, so don't be discouraged if you don't understand what's being said in the video; it'll all make sense once you play the new game.
