According to a
Japanese magazine interview with Capcom producer Tomoaki Ayano, the recently hyped and highly anticipated
Marvel vs Capcom: Infinnite won't actually be released unti late-2017. The reason? To give some breathing room for
Street Fighter V, which will reportedly be releasing tons of DLC and holding numerous contests and events in celebration of the fighting institution's
30th Anniversary.
Elsewhere, Capcom's Director of Productions, Michael Evans told the audience and online viewers during
PSX 2016 that the video game will be taking ques from the
Marvel Cinematic Universe. That likely means you can expect to see all of your favorite Avengers among the game's roster along with a Guardian of the Galaxy or two. What that means for X-Men, Fantastic Four or the Marvel Netflix characters is anyone's guess.
