NetherRealm Studios'
Mortal Kombat 11 was released on the 23rd of April and, over the course of just one week,
it managed to become the best-selling title of the month; executing a Flawless Victory on Bend Studio's
Days Gone, its direct competition.
A new report by NPD Group analyst Mat Piscatella has revealed that
Mortal Kombat 11 has, once again, managed to be the best-selling game during the month of May. Not only that, but NetherRealm's acclaimed fighting game is also reported to have doubled comparable sales of any of the other entries in the long-running
Mortal Kombat series.
According to the report,
Mortal Kombat 11 is also now the best-selling game of 2019 year-to-date; a title that the NetherRealm Studios-developed game is likely to hold, as there aren't that many big releases coming out for all platforms in the coming months. Our hats are off to you, NetherRealm Studios and
Mortal Kombat 11.
