Battlefield 1's Premium Pass, and therefore all of its DLC, will be completely free during a limited-time giveaway following its successor's open-beta event.
A new post on EA.com has detailed the coming giveaway, revealing that the Premium Pass will be free from September 11th until September 18th. The season pass currently costs $49.99 and entitles players to all four DLC expansions: They Shall Not Pass, In the Name of the Tsar, Turning Tides, and Apocalypse.
EA DICE's Announcement read as such: "The Battlefield 1 Premium Pass giveaway is set to run from September 11 to 18, as our way to capstone all the giveaways and rewards from the Road to Battlefield V. This offer will let Battlefield 1 owners play everything Battlefield 1 Premium Pass has to offer for free."
The pass gives players access to a total of 16 maps which weren't included in the base-game. Not to mention more Elite classes, more weapons, and 14 Superior Battlepacks. The post continued: "Battlefield 1 Premium Pass is a great way for Battlefield 1 base game owners to play all the great post-launch content and whet your appetite as we enter mankind's greatest conflict in Battlefield V, come November."
