EA announced last month that Battlefield 3 sold 5 Million units during it's first week of release. It wasn't enough to beat Moder Warfare 3's launch sales, but it seems that EA's military shooter is selling well post-launch.
EA CFO Eric Brown addressed Battlefield 3's current status earlier this week during an investor presentation, revealing that Battlefield 3 had shipped 12 million copies of the game, and sold 8 million units.
