The upcoming launch of
Battlefield V is just the beginning of your journey through World War II as DICE has revealed what's coming next in Tides of War, the premium pass-less live service for
Battlefield V. EA seemingly tries to avoid
Battlefront II's problems and players won't be charged for additional content. The system will see the release of periodic events that will tell an overarching narrative.
The first chapter,
Overture, will launch roughly two weeks after
Battlefield V’s release, bringing the Panzerstorm map, where the German mechanized war machine plunges into Belgium, smashing into Allied defensive forces. The first chapter will also let the player take on an addition to our single-player War Stories:
The Last Tiger, which will serve as an ending o
f Battlefield V's story campaign.
The Battle Royale mode that was announced during this year's EA PLAY won't launch until March as it will be included in the third chapter,
Trial by Fire. The DICE and Criterion-designed experience will mix a shrinking playing field with trademark
Battlefield elements such as team play, powerful vehicles, and destruction. You can check out the full
