Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 is set to receive its largest content update next week. Activision and developer Treyarch revealed the content in the upcoming "Operation Absolute Z" update, which will be free when it arrives on Tuesday, December 11.

The highlight of the update is the new specialist, Zero. Available in both Multiplayer and Blackout Modes, Zero ca"reprogram the flow of combat," disrupting and distracting enemies with powerful hacking tools. Zero can be unlocked by completing Tier 1 in the revamped Black Market.

Speaking of the Black Market, the Contraband tiers will have three new earnable weapons for Multiplayer - the Daemon 3XB SMG, SWAT RFT assault rifle, and Secret Santa melee weapon. The update also brings new tactical outfits, personalization accessories, and special gift-wrapped melee weapons. Black Ops 4's Holiday Event will kick off December 13 on PlayStation 4 and add new seasonal items to the Black Market as well. Check out Activision's blog to read more on how they've updated the Black Market  in order to deliver "a more diverse and exciting collection of items to earn."

Additionally, "Operation Absolute Zero" will also bring updates to the core BLackout experience, including the new Armor repair system, audio improvements, SDM and Spitfire weapon balancing, and season changes across the map. Speaking of the map, you'll notice, on PlayStation 4, a new destination. Inspired by the classic multiplayer map from Black Ops 2, you can revisit this luxury yacht at the Hijacked location.

Treyarch is also expanding the already robust Zombies experience, introducing three new free features on all platforms: Daily Callings, the Black Ops Authenticity Stamp system, and Daily Tier Skips for Zombies.

Daily Callings will provide new gameplay challenges that reward players with bonus XP and Nebulium Plasma. The Black Ops Authenticity Stamp system gives players the ability to verify and share the results of their game online, tracking all sorts of stats like the number of kills, deaths, downs, revives, headshots, rounds survived, and much more. And finally, Daily Tier Skips for Zombies provide a path to earn Black Market Tier progression by playing the Zombies mode; completing 15 rounds in one game of Classic Zombies each day will unlock your daily bonus BLack Market Tier.

The special Zombies limited-time holiday event, Winter Calling, will also begin on December 13 for PS4 and will feature seasonal personalization rewards.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's "Operation Absolute Zero" update will arrive first on PlayStation 4 this Tuesday, with other platforms to follow.
