Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's "Operation Apocalypse Z" season has been going on for a month's time now and its set for quite a significant update. Treyarch recently put out a Reddit post in which they detail and upcoming update that will seemingly turn the game on its head.

Beginning today, a brand new mode will be introduced which is named "Pandemic" Based on the aforementioned Reddit post, it will be similar to the classic "Infected" mode but involve eighty players and take place on the enormous Blackout map. Similarly, the Infected mode itself will be added to Call of Duty: Black Ops 4's multiplayer mode but with some unrevealed twists.

A new vehicle will be added to Blackout in the form of a motorcycle which features a sidecar. That is, as well as many other Zombies-themed additions like Wonder Weapons, wall buys, and enemy types. Speaking of Zombies, there's also a new Gauntlet mode for the recently added Alpha Omega map.

"Imagine an 80-player game of Infected on the biggest Call of Duty map ever made. We’re cranking that idea to 11 and making it a reality in Blackout, where the rules have changed from 'last squad standing' to 'last survivors on Earth against an endless swarm of undead at the end of the world.' Get ready to run."
