For the first time in the history of the
Call of Duty first-person shooter franchise, Treyarch and Infinity Ward's instalments have had somewhat of a crossover.
Captain Price is arguably the most iconic character of the
Call of Duty franchise and he hails from the
Modern Warfare subseries. However, with that series being rebooted in October; Treyarch have introduced that character in their currently relevant
Black Ops game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 includes a battle-royale mode which basically combines together a bunch of disparate parts of the
Black Ops subseries, from locations to characters. Treyarch have now introduced Captain Price as a playable character within the game mode. He's sporting his classic look from the
Modern Warfare games.
To get your hands on this character skin, you'll need to pre-order
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare. When you've done that, you'll be able to play as Captain Price within Blackout from August 1st (on the PlayStation 4 side of things, and on other platforms roughly a week later).
Treyarch (via
PlayStation) has released a brief trailer in promotion of this upcoming playable character - you can check that out below:
