A new trailer for the highly-anticipated Zombies-mode map "Blood of the Dead" was recently released and sees the iconic Primis crew making their way through Alcatraz.

Check out the new trailer below:

The cinematic trailer is five minutes long and features the fan-favourite song "Where Are We Going" which appeared in Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 Zombies map "Mob of the Dead" - which Blood is based on - but that isn't the only callback or Easter Egg that the trailer and map have in-store for fans. We're also given brief glimpses at gameplay and exciting, new areas - which didn't feature in Mob.

Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo, and Nikolai are shown in particularly guesome sections in which they meet their end at the hands of the undead. Whether Blood will truly be the end for our favourite Zombie-killing crew is up for speculation, but the trailer sure does give you a good idea of what becomes of the crew should you fail to survive.

Treyarch described the remastered map as such:

‘Blood of the Dead’ takes the classic Zombies heroes -- Richtofen, Dempsey, Takeo and Nikolai – on a journey to a secret laboratory beneath the iconic Alcatraz Penitentiary. Encountering a familiar enemy Hell-bent on imprisoning them for all eternity, the Primis crew quickly realize that the future predicted by the Kronorium - the future they sought to secure - is now in serious jeopardy.

What do you think of the trailer? Are you looking forward to playing Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Zombies?

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 releases on October 12th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
