The sixth season of Call of Duty: Mobile's post-launch content updates has proven to be the most successful yet. That's in terms of the population of the playerbase as well as player retention and engagement. Season 6 kicked off on May 1st with the introduction of the classic "Rust" multiplayer map that originally featured in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 — more on that here.
However, there's still a lot more content to come. We're talking new maps, modes, classes, and more. Activision didn't only reveal that the sixth season has been the mobile game's most successful yet but also released an official roadmap which provides a rundown of the remaining upcoming content that's a part of Season 6.
This includes a new map called "Saloon" as well as such multiplayer modes as Kill Confirmed and 1v1 Duel. That last one is pretty fitting given the whole western vibe that the sixth season has been going for. There's also a new battle royale class coming soon that's called "Poltergeist." It seems that this class is based on "Spectre" from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3.
What's more, there's also a new tactical grenade that's called the "Cryo Bomb." All this is as well as Capture the Flag, new weapons such as the Pharo and Outlaw, a new operator skill (Annihilator), and battle royale Gold Rush. Suffice it to say, it's clear to see why Season 6 has proven to be so successful.
