We're only weeks away from the release of the Rise of Iron expansion from Destiny. While legacy-console gamers are currently deciding whether to make the Next-Gen leap or say goodbye to the game, Bungie continues to roll out new details on the next phase of the game. According to Christopher Barret, shaders will function as they were originally intended, with the ability to change the color of class-restricted items. That means your Hunter's Cloaks, Titan's Mark and Warlock Bond will once again, have its color changed by your equipped shader. This cosmetic feature was present at the launch of the game but was dropped in subsequent updates. It appears that with the decision to only support Next-Gen consoles moving forward, this feature is able to be added back to the game.
Rise of Iron will be released for the PS4 and Xbox One on September 20th.
