Before any judgments on The Taken King can cast out, gamers have to see the reveal that takes place tomorrow, August 18th. The reveal is going to be one epic ride and fans of the game are going to LOVE it.
Here is the take away from the teaser trailer.
First, it looks like (for the first time in Destiny history) the game is actually going to have a story line. Oryx is pissed that guardians G-Horned his son Crota till he was nothing but ashes scattered across the room... er space.
They're overhauling a bunch of things in the game including the level system, the light system, bounties and much much more. Bungie is also adding a quest system that takes some of the weight (or so it seems) off the grind of bounties. Assuming that Guardians still do them. After a certain point they're basically useless unless you want the packages you get from them.
Also, guardians will have new sub-classes to master. Now gamers will have the power to crush enemies with solar, void and arc whenever the burns allow them to take a grenade and shove it right up their enemies. . . They also make mention of the following:
Nameplate Collection
Armsday
Artifact Slot
Exotic Blueprints
Collections & Vaults
Legendary Marks
Infusion
Shader Collections
Level 25 Character boost
Haters on Destiny can hate all they want. Bungie Is hellbent on making this game the best game out there. Yes, they've tripped up here and there, but if you still don't like the game after The Taken King, go back to Call of Duty. They made the same game over and over for years now.
