The game is finally finished! Turtle Rock Studios announced that the game has gone gold. This means that the game has been sent off for manufacturing. The open beta is also set to begin shortly. Now that the game is finished, developers can now bust out the razors and shave their faces.

The Evolve team promised not to shave their facial hair until the game was finished. In an effort to raise money for the Child's Play charity, developers said they'd donate $50 dollars for every inch cut off their faces. Well . . . 227.5 inches later, they raised $11,375 for the charity. 2kGames Matched the donation bringing the grand total to $22,750!
