With each new video, we learn more the upcoming post-apocalyptic extravaganza also known as Fallout 76. The controversial title will launch next month and it's the right time to show us, gamers, what the title is actually about. IGN, VG24/7 and the biggest media outlets had a chance to recently check out the very first minutes of 76 and you can check out their recorded footage down below.
As opposed to other Bethesda games like TES: Online, Fallout 76's online servers will consist of only 12 players that will be exploring a map that's 4 times bigger than the one found in Fallout 4. You play as an inhabitant of a "control" Vault 76 tasked with rebuilding the wasteland outside. Fallout 76 will be a typical prequel, as it takes place earlier in the series timeline than any Fallout game before it.
You will have an opportunity to check out Fallout 76's current build as the official B.E.T.A. will start on October 23rd for Xbox One and October 30th for PlayStation 4 and PC. According to the FAQs page for Fallout 76, "the B.E.T.A. will be approximately 45GB in size," so be sure to make space for the upcoming tests. Be sure to take a look at the extended gameplay footage (featuring launching a nuke):
Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of Skyrim and Fallout 4, welcome you to Fallout 76, the online prequel where every surviving human is a real person. Work together, or not, to survive. Under the threat of nuclear annihilation, you’ll experience the largest, most dynamic world ever created in the legendary Fallout universe.
Fallout 76 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC November 14, 2018.
