Too the disappointment of fans everywhere, players have been experiencing a ton of bugs and other issues in Fallout 76. One of the biggest problems surrounding the game was discovered during the beta phase, when players realized the game’s physics were tied to its frame rate.

In an attempt to quickly avoid the issue, Bethesda chose to cap the frame rate on PC to a maximum of 60 FPS. While 60 FPS is generally considered a healthy frame rate for gaming, this cap unsurprisingly led to some backlash from fans, with some calling it a temporary solution.

Fortunately, if you really want to go over 60 FPS, the frame rate on PC was reportedly uncapped with the release of yesterday's massive update. Along with unlocking the frame rate, the update also made it so the game's physics are no longer tied to FPS.

Although performance and stability improvements were the focus of yesterday's update, Bethesda has stated that other features such as an FOV slider and Ultra Wide screen support will eventually be added to Fallout 76.
