Fallout 76 will be officially releasing in about a week and we finally know how much space you'll have to clear out, in your console's storage, in order to dowload the game.

The game's official page within the Microsoft Store was recently updated and thereby revealed the approximate size of Fallout 76 is: "45.28GB". This is certainly a plausible amount given that most triple-A titles nowadays tend to be this size. Thankfully it's nowhere near the size of Bethesda's previous titles, Doom and Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus, which take up 70GB.

However, it's worth noting that this amount only takes into account the game itself and not the subsequent updates, like a "Day-One Patch" for instance. It's also worth noting that this is only the confirmed size for the Xbox One, though most games are generally the same size across consoles, PC however is another story.

What do you think of Fallout 76's download size? Are you looking forward to Fallout 76?

Fallout 76 will release for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on October 23rd.
