Prime Gaming has revealed the next batch of free games that will be available for Amazon Prime members during the month of April. A total of 12 games will be offered for free this month, most of them on PC although there is one that you'll be able to play on Xbox.

Three of the games are already available to claim, as of last week: Chivalry 2 (Epic Games Store), Faraway 2: Jungle Escape (Amazon Games App), and Black Desert (Black Desert Online Launcher).

On April 11, four more games will be made available: Drawn: Trail of Shadows (Amazon Games App), Faraway 3: Arctic Escape (Amazon Games App), Fallout 76 (PC via Microsoft Store Code; Xbox via Xbox Code), Demon's Tilt (Epic Games Store)

Two games will arrive on April 18: Rose Riddle: The Fairy Tale Detective Collector’s Edition (Legacy Games Code) and Dexter Stardust: Adventures in Outer Space (Amazon Games App). Closing out the month on April 25 will be three more games: Living Legends: Fallen Sky (Amazon Games App), Vlad Circus: Descend Into Madness (Amazon Games App), and Tiny Robots Recharged (Amazon Games App).

Of the twelve games coming this month, Fallout 76 is probably the biggest of them. Released in 2018 it was Bethesda Game Studios' first multiplayer game. It is an action role-playing game in which players control a resident of Vault 76, who venture into the wasteland known as "Appalachia" and attempt to re-colonize the region.

When it originally launched, Bethesda intended for it to be entirely player-driven. That turned out to be an unpopular decision and after a while through multiple free content updates, they've since added NPCs and more traditional single-player content. Another big point of criticism was the number of bugs and glitches at launch, but thankfully, that too has been fixed.

It's probably no coincidence that Fallout 76 is free this month through Prime Gaming as Prime Video will debut its new Fallout TV series on April 12. Seeing as how the series is based on the video game franchise, it's a good way for Bethesda and Prime Gaming to work together and promote the new series.

If you need a break from the wasteland, there is plenty of other variety to be found in these other games. Chivarly 2 is a multiplayer first-person slasher inspired by epic medieval movie battles while the Faraway games are more relaxing adventures filled with puzzles.

Prime Gaming is included with Amazon Prime membership.
