Fallout 76 is the first entry in the beloved RPG series that allows you to interact with other players. You will have an opportunity to check out
Fallout 76's online mode soon (or even now) as the official B.E.T.A. starts today for Xbox One and October 30th for PlayStation 4 & PC. According to the FAQ, the B.E.T.A. will be approximately 45GB in size, so be sure to make the necessary space beforehand.
Every player who ever had a chance to check out Bethesda's
Fallout and
The Elder Scrolls games should know that those games are filled with smaller, bigger, and absolutely ridiculous bugs, issues, and technical glitches. Some fans hoped that
Fallout 76 (which has been in development since 2015) will be an exception from that rule, but it's time to face the ugly truth, as
76 will be a glitchfest.
Bethesda has seemingly decided to enter the "damage control" mode and released a special note to clarify
Fallout 76's current status. According to the studio, the upcoming launch is just "
a starting line" and players will encounter "
new spectacular issues" during their playthrough. It looks like Bethesda’s testers are unable to handle the scope of those issues and the publisher will "
need your help finding them, and advice on what's important to fix. We'll address all of it, now and after launch."
As opposed to other Bethesda games like
TES: Online, Fallout 76's servers will consist of only 12 players that will be exploring a map that's 4 times bigger than the one found in
Fallout 4. You will play as an inhabitant of a "control" Vault 76 tasked with rebuilding the wasteland outside and fixing the game itself as Bethesda just lost what's left of their dignity and is ready to publish another unfinished game.
Bethesda Game Studios, the award-winning creators of Skyrim and Fallout 4, welcome you to Fallout 76, the online prequel where every surviving human is a real person. Work together, or not, to survive. Under the threat of nuclear annihilation, you’ll experience the largest, most dynamic world ever created in the legendary Fallout universe.
Fallout 76 will be available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC November 14, 2018.
