It looks like Bethesda's
RAGE 2 might have a big problem on their hands, as the new
Far Cry game is also heading into a similar direction and setting. Yesterday, Ubisoft released a brief teaser trailer for the game announcing that the project will be officially revealed today, during The Game Awards 2018. Well, it looks like we won't have to wait that long, as the game's cover art and title have already leaked.
Let's start with the title -
Far Cry: New Dawn, which suggests that Ubisoft will continue what they started in
Far Cry 5 with the inclusion on a religious cult as the main antagonist. Thankfully, you won't have to wonder if the game's big "villain" (or maybe rather "anti-hero") Joseph Seed (played beautifully by Greg Bryk) will return, as he's taking center stage on this cover art that has leaked online as well.
The box art also shows two ladies who sit on a sofa, while our beloved Father is chained to the roof of a car screaming out for help. Considering that one of
Far Cry 5's endings featured the beginning of a nuclear war, it's pretty easy to guess that it was the "canonic" finale and
New Dawn will give us a chance to see what happens when the player and The Father finally leave the bunker. Take a look:
