Far Cry 5 is not trying to reinvent the wheel and doesn't change the core gameplay mechanics that have been present in the series since the revolutionary Far Cry 3. The newest entry gives the players even more freedom in exploring, hunting and hurting the obsessed enemies. The newest gameplay trailer recorded by IGN showcases a plenty of ways to regain the freedom in Hope Country.
The trailer is quite impressing. It's clear that Ubisoft Montreal doesn't plan to narrow down the players anytime soon and will give them many options to finish the missions. The game offers something for the fans of Thief, Call of Duty, theHunter: Call of the Wild and even Crackdown. The gameplay you're about to see features mostly "the things you know", but let's hope that Far Cry 5 is closer to Assassin's Creed Origins than Syndicate. Check it out:
Welcome to Hope County, Montana, home to a fanatical doomsday cult known as The Project at Eden’s Gate that is threatening the community's freedom. Stand up to the cult’s leader, Joseph Seed and the Heralds, and spark the fires of resistance that will liberate the besieged community. In this expansive world, your limits and creativity will be tested against the biggest and most ruthless baddest enemy Far Cry has ever seen. It’ll be wild and it’ll get weird, but as long as you keep your wits about you, the residents of Hope County can rest assured you’re their beacon of hope.
Join the Resistance on March 27, 2018, with Far Cry 5. Available on Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
