Twitter and Twitch both nearly went down under the strain of Ninja's streaming session that featured none other than Toronto-based rapper Drake, Travis Scott and NFL WR JuJu Smith-Schuster. Their session broke the previous record for the most-viewed stream by a single player, a record previously held by Dr. DisRespect (388,000 views) . At its peak, their session commanded 630,000 viewers! Drake and Ninja were also trending for several hours on Twitter and Instagram.
Ninja played under the username @Ninja, while Drake was @TheBoyDuddus, Travis Scott's tag was @cactus_jackk92 and JuJu played as @FaZeJuJu_19.
According to TMZ, the gaming session wasn't planned or a sponsored interview or promotional event. Drake is just a big fan of @Ninja and their play session then attracted Scott and JuJu.

The eSports community came out in full force in support of Ninja and Twitch. Popular professional gamers who marveled at Ninja's good fortune included a host of FaZe Clan members and one person's dig at Dr. DisRespect who saw his previous record of 388,000 views obliterated.
Would you have remained so calm while playing with Drake? Ninja kept his cool and led the foursome to some top 10 finishes despite Drake being a bit of a noob. Jack 'Courage' Dunlop of OpTic Gaming pointed out that Ninja was trending #4 on Twitter however, Drake surpassed that, trending in the #1 spot for hours and it was all due to his activity in Fortnite.
Will more celebrities start appearing in Fortnite and other Twitch streams? At the very least, this event certainly cements Fornite as the #1 battle royal game, dropkicking the slow-developing PUBG to a distant second.
Also, holy cow! Did you realize Ninja was making so much money!
