As expected, Fortnite update 3.6 went live this morning and Epic Games has released the patch notes. The new update introduces new weapons to both Battle Royale and Save the World, along with a brand new self-service cosmetic returns feature which allows you to return up to 3 cosmetic purchases for V-Bucks (lifetime). Additionally, there have been numerous quality-of-life improvements to Battle Royale, adjustments made to the Minigun, and other balance tweaks to both modes.
The sticky Clinger grenade is probably the most exciting new weapon. A bomb attached to a plunger, the Clinger sticks to surfaces or enemies before it explodes after a short duration. The description reads: "Stick it to your enemies and score the Victory Royale. Find this new grenade in Floor Loot, Supply Drops, Supply Llamas, and Treasure Chests." The Clinger will stick to any surface or player hit, and can not explode in air. It can however detonate early if a structure it is attached to is destroyed. More specific details about the Clinger can be found in the patch notes.
The Noble Launcher has also arrived, but only in Save the World (PvE) mode. While specific stats for the Noble Launcher can be found below, its description reads:
"Charge-up this launcher and leave monsters in shock! Increase the charge for a more intense attack."
As for the Minigun, its accuracy has been increased by 10%, while its recoil has been decreased by 10%. Additionally, its damage has been increased from 16/17 (Epic/Legendary) to 18/19.
Another welcomed feature in the update is the Self-Service Cosmetic Returns, which will allow you to return up to 3 cosmetic purchases for V-Bucks over your overall lifetime. Only eligible purchases made within the past 30 days are able to be returned, including Emotes, Gliders, Harvesting Tools, Back Bling, and Outfits. Items that can't be return include the Battle Pass,Start or Founder's Pack, Loot Llamas, and Event and Weekly Items.
