Fortnite update v6.02 went live today and with it came the eagerly awaited Disco Domination Limited Time Mode along with a new weapon for Battle Royale that promises to wreak havoc on enemy buildings.

As its name suggests, the newly added Quad Launcher can fire up to four lobbed rockets in quick succession. With 80/84 base damage per rocket and a 300 unit explosion radius, you can quickly and easily bring down enemy builds.

The Quad Launcher is Epic's latest attempt to inject some alternative options to the "just build" problem. It offers players who may not be pro-builders a viable option for late-game counterplay.

Also arriving in Battle Royale is the new Disco Domination LTM. In this mode, two teams of players will bust out their best dance moves to take control of the dance floor.

It's time for the ultimate dance-off. Dance Floors have spawned around the Battle Royale island. Take them over by clearing out any enemies and then dancing to raise a disco ball up from the floor. The team that fills their meter the fastest by capturing and defending the dance floors will win the match!

Five dance floors will appear on the map whenever the storm is not moving. To capture a dance floor, you must emote dance on it when no enemies are nearby. The more friendly players dancing on the floor, the faster it will be captured. Once the floor is captured, it will begin filling a team's "dance bar," until either an enemy stands on it or the current storm timer ends and the storm begins to move. The first team to fill their dance bar to 100% wins. Towards the later stages of the storm, the dance floors fill the bar more quickly, giving teams a chance for a comeback.

In addition to the new weapon and modes, Epic has adjusted the loot drop rate on several weapons, so be sure to check out the patch notes for specific changes along with bug fixes.

Meanwhile, in Save the World, we're getting the Noble Launcher - a heavy launcher that fires a wave of piercing energy. It can be fired normally for a narrow half tile wide pulse, or charged a 1 tile wide or 1.5 tile wide blast.
