Nintendo announced today a brand new Nintendo Switch bundle that includes Epic’s insanely popular battle royale game Fortnite. The $299.99 Nintendo Switch: Fortnite – Double Helix Bundle is the same price as a regular Switch, but includes all sorts of in-game incentives for Fortnite.
Among the extra goodies you’ll receive are 1,000 V-Bucks ($10 value) and the Double Helix Set, a cosmetic set featuring a unique Character Outfit, Back Bling, Glider, and Pickaxe. V-Bucks are Fortnite’s in-game currency, used to purchase the Battle Pass, which unlocks additional in-game content, or separate individual cosmetic items.
Fortnite is free to download and play on Nintendo Switch and will not require a Nintendo Switch Online subscription to play. Fortnite’s fifth season is coming to a close and with season six rapidly approaching, now may be a great time for jump into this bundle.
