A powerful EF2 tornado ripped through Greensboro, North Carolina, on Sunday night causing at least one death. The 135 mile-per-hour storm, which prompted a state of emergency, also did significant damage to Greensboro homes. Tens of thousands lost power as the tornado uprooted houses, mobile homes and trees. But it wasn't enough to stop Anton Williams from finishing his game of Fortnite.

"I was sitting at home and I was playing Fortnite, and all of the sudden I hear a bunch of noise," Fortnite player Anton Williams told the local news network WXII 12 on Monday. "I looked out the window and I started seeing the roof come off the houses in front of me, but I sat back down because I only had a couple more people left in my game, you know, I was going to try to finish my game."

Williams told WXII that he eventually ended the round, though, and hunkered down with his relatives. He also confirmed that nobody in his neighborhood appeared to be hurt. A state of emergency was later declared in Greensboro as a result of the tornado’s damage. You can check out the full interview down below. Although, If he really played Fortnite, he would have known to run away from the storm...
