Ahead of next week's Lunar New Year celebration in
Overwatch, Blizzard has revealed one of the new hero skins that will be available exclusively for the seasonal event.
Over on Twitter, Blizzard released a quick teaser showing off the new Lü Bü Reaper skin. There's no mention on if this will be an Epic or Legendary skin. While we're all hoping for the more affordable 750-credit Epic, it's probably going to be Legendary, which means it will cost 3,000 credits.
Lü Bü Reaper was the first new skin to be revealed for
Overwatch's 2019 Lunar New Year, which runs from January 24 through February 18, 2019.
As
revealed last week, this year will celebrate the Year of the Pig. The seasonal event will likely introduce new exclusive cosmetics while also making available the ones from past events.
Overwatch has celebrated the Chinese New Year for the past two years, resulting in a total of 185 cosmetic items, including 19 character skins.
As for new game modes, we'll have to see if Blizzard expands upon the Capture the Flag/Dog mode.
