Developed by
PUBG Corporation (a subsidiary of
Bluehole),
PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds, has been receiving bi-weekly scheduled updates since their 1.0 release back in late Dec 2017. Just last month, they
released a campaign plotting out all the major things to the community they wanted to update, performance-wise, in the game, which they titled, "FIX PUBG." These performance and bug fixes aren't hindering new content, though, as they've already seen new vehicles, guns, and now a new training map since their bug fix roadmap was released.
In this week's
PC Update #21, they include a slew of "FIX PUBG" bug fixes, such as character and weapon rendering issues, and some more camera issues for those third-person players, just to name a few of the major ones.
The meat of this update however revolves around the new training map:
(Steamcommunity.com)
It is a new 2x2 Training Mode map full with areas to practice every aspect of gameplay: driving, dropping (using your parachute), gun ranges, and even an area to practice grenades.
Players will be able to queue up like any other match while selecting "Training Mode," and the game lasts up to 30 minutes once at least 5 players join the game. Players will not be able to die on this map. This certainly shows that the developers are listening to the community as they were asking for something like this since the games' launch, and from initial reactions it seems very welcomed.
One of the other new additions to the game this patch was a new 7.62mm ammo rifle, the MK47 Mutant.
It has only 20 rounds in a standard magazine (up to 30 with an extended), and has two firing modes, semi-automatic and a 2-shot burst, meaning it will act similarly to the 5.56mm ammo rifle, the M16A4. The main difference for this gun however, is that it can use all assault rifle attachments, barring a stock.
The gun will be available on all three available maps.
They also introduced a new 3-person vehicle called the Tukshai, a certain homage to the rickshaw's that can be seen across most of Southeast Asia.

This vehicle will only spawn on the Sanhok map.
This
PUBG #21 Update is live as of yesterday, September 5th.
