DICE has supported
Star Wars: Battlefront II since its debut almost two years ago. Many believe that DICE were able to recover from the game's rocky start. This week, another update is set to hit the popular multiplayer game. It's known as the
"Co-operation Update" and will add a new map, playable character, and pair of gamemodes.
Instant Action is an iconic gamemode that was included in the previous iteration of the
Star Wars Battlefront franchise and will finally be making its way into the new games. The mode involves players fighting in large, offline battles against AI enemies for control of command posts which are placed throughout the map.
There's also a new online co-operative mode which will allow a team of four Clone Commandos to take on the AI enemies together. The Co-operation Update will be made available to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players on Wednesday, September 25th.
EA and DICE have released a new video which provides a rundown of the forthcoming content — you can check it out below (via
