To the displeasure of some fans, EA and DICE haven't released a significant update for Star Wars Battlefront II in quite some time. Fortunately, that's all expected to change later this month.
While the recently released community calendar didn't reveal any new details on the big August update, a recent Twitter post from DICE's Ben Walke made it clear that the developers are still set to launch the update in a few weeks.
However, that wasn't the only exciting news Walke had, as he also confirmed that the game will have a presence at Gamescom 2019. Although he didn't reveal a lot about EA's plans for the upcoming event, the community lead did confirm that they will shed some more light on future content coming to the Star Wars title.
It has already been revealed that Star Wars Battlefront II will be adding the planet Felucia this fall, but it's entirely possible that DICE will reveal some unannounced content during Gamescom, which kicks off on August 20.
