EA has released an updated roadmap for
Star Wars Battlefront II, providing a more specific list of January's planned events. Most notably, January will see the arrival of the Darth Tyranus update which will bring Count Dooku.
The menacing Sith Lord, who voluntarily left the light side and became a disciple of Darth Sidious, will join the action on January 23. He will also come with the "Dark Ritual" alternate appearance. Joining him with the Darth Tyranus update is the Coruscant Guard Clone Trooper appearance.
In addition to the Darth Tyranus update, January will see multiple triple XP events. The first event is scheduled for this weekend (Jan. 4 - 6) and will provide three times the amount of experience when playing Heroes vs Villains and Hero Showdown. There will be two additional triple XP events as well as a Battle Point event this month.
Looking a little bit further down the road,
Star Wars Battlefront II will see the arrival of Anakin Skywalker in February along with a new game mode "featuring capture points and capital ship takedown."
Star Wars Battlefront II may be over a year old now, but it's clear EA still has big plans for the game in 2019.
