The wait is over, as Anakin Skywalker is available for
DICE's
Star Wars: Battlefront II. After downloading the recent
Chosen One update, you can finally lead the way on the battlefront as the rebellious hero.
Just like in the movies, the in-game Anakin is an extremely powerful lightsaber wielder. Unlike his beloved master Obi-Wan Kenobi, Skywalker is focused more on hurting his enemies rather than defending himself. In
Battlefront II, Anakin possesses four unique powers:
Passionate Strike (a new guard-breaking and high-damage attack),
Heroic Might (absorbs a lot more damage for redistribution sending all surrounding opponents flying with a 360-degree
Force Push),
Pull Dominance (Anakin pulls all his enemies in front of him, leaving the targets vulnerable to follow-up attacks), and his last, ultimate ability:
Retribution, allowing Skywalker to unleash a
Force Choke on all enemies in the area.
The update also adds some minor changes to the way trooper classes are visually identified, as the different clone trooper legions have also undergone a touch-up in the way they look. Finally, the
Chosen One patch gives you a chance to play as an armored clone officer, which is a welcome addition.
When it comes to his outfit, Anakin is wearing his Jedi Knight suit by default, with the Jedi Robes as an unlockable alternative. Be sure to take a closer look at Skywalker in the recent trailer down below:
