PUNISHER Star Jon Bernthal Is Headed To TOM CLANCY’S GHOST RECON WILDLANDS In Free DLC
In Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands' upcoming expansion, entitled Operation Oracle, players will get access to two brand-new missions, starring the man behind Netflix's The Punisher – Jon Bernthal...
While Ubisoft still hasn't officially confirmed that Jon Bernthal will play a major character in Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands' upcoming expansion, entitled Operation Oracle, the all-new trailer for the free DLC does reveal that the star of Netflix's The Punisher is indeed coming to the sandbox title.
According to Ubisoft, with this update to Wildlands, starting on May 2nd, "you will have access to two brand-new missions that will plunge you headfirst into a scenario that will challenge your perception of the truth. You will be called by Bowman to extract a Skell Tech engineer who has been arrested by Unidad. The asset has knowledge of sensitive US industrial secrets that must be protected. You will also meet Major Cole D. Walker, a fellow Ghost Team Leader with his own agenda."
What's even more interesting, Oracle might "very well" set the scene for the future, possible teasing a full-blown sequel or the long-rumored Splinter Cell, that also has ties to the aforementioned Skell Tech – a fictional company behind the cutting-edge camouflage tech used by the Ghosts in GR: Future Solider and all the drones in the latest Tom Clancy's games – including Twitch's gadgets in RG: Siege.
In case you're not sure if Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands is a thing made for you, you and three of your friends can play the Ubisoft Paris-created title May 2–5 during a free weekend with the game.
Be sure to take a closer look at Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands - Operation Oracle and two unique rewards you'll get after completing it in the DLC's trailer and screenshots down below:
