Arrowhead Game Studios has officially revealed the Helldivers 2 x Warhammer 40,000 collaboration. The Legendary Warbond, titled Castellan’s Creed, launches on August 12, 2026, across PS5, PC, and Xbox.
As a Legendary crossover Warbond, Castellan’s Creed is expected to cost 1,500 Super Credits, matching the price of previous high-profile collabs such as the Halo and Killzone Warbonds. Read on to see what all is included in the new content.
What’s Included
The Warbond delivers a full set of Warhammer 40,000-inspired gear with a clear Astra Militarum / Imperial Guard flavor:
Weapons
- R/40-K Hot-Shot Marksman Rifle (Primary) – A precision-oriented rifle effective at both close and long range.
- P/40-K Bolt Pistol (Sidearm) – A hard-hitting pistol built for stopping power.
- 40-K Meltagun (Support Weapon) – A short-range thermal beam weapon designed for high damage against tough targets.
- G/40-K Meltamine (Throwable) – A proximity mine that unleashes burning damage when enemies get too close.
Armor
- TG-122 Demo-Trooper (Heavy Armor)
- TG-8 Sharpshooter (Medium Armor)
Both armor sets come with the exclusive True Grit passive, which increases weapon handling by 20 and boosts support weapon reload speed by 30%.
Additional Items
- Two capes: Camo Cloak and City Fighter’s Resolve
- Matching player banners
- Player title: Still Standing
- Several Castellan’s Green cosmetic patterns for the FRV, Exo Suit, Shuttle, and Hellpod
The overall aesthetic leans into Cadian and Kasrkin-inspired designs rather than Space Marine iconography, giving the collaboration a grounded, imperial infantry feel that fits Helldivers’ existing tone.
Release Details
Castellan’s Creed goes live on Wednesday, August 12, 2026. Exact rollout times usually follow Arrowhead’s standard Warbond schedule, with the content becoming available across all platforms simultaneously.
This marks one of the bigger crossover Warbonds Helldivers 2 has received. The combination of new primary, sidearm, support weapon, throwable, and two full armor sets with a unique passive gives players a complete themed loadout rather than a small selection of cosmetics.
Players interested in the collaboration will need 1,500 Super Credits to unlock the full Warbond once it arrives. As with previous Legendary Warbonds, individual pages can be unlocked progressively, though many players prefer to clear the entire track.
The August 12 launch gives Helldivers a major new content drop in the middle of the summer season. Between the new weapons and the distinct Warhammer 40,000 visual style, Castellan’s Creed is positioned as one of the more substantial crossover offerings the game has seen to date.
