Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus is a sequel to
Wolfenstein: The New Order—which is a soft-reboot of sorts for the franchise—that takes place in a world where the Nazi won World War II. The games are developed by MachineGames and published by Bethesda Softworks.
The
Wolfenstein games have always been first-person shooters that see take control of William "B.J." Blazkowicz as they go on specific missions and fighting their way through levels—all of this in order to overthrown the Nazi regime. To progress, players arm themselves with all sorts of weapons that will make traversing these levels not only easier, but also a lot more fun.
Today, Nintendo have released an overview trailer for
Wolfesntein II: The New Colossus for players to catch up with the story of the game as they're told about the events that took place during
Wolfenstein: The New Order, how these events have affected our main hero, and what the state of things are by the end of the first game.
