According to various rumors [
via Eurogamer], Bethesda will be unveiling plans for a remake of The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. This rumor seems plausible as Bethesda has already ported all of Skyrim to Xbox One some time ago. Gamers were theorizing from day one that the project was really undertaken in order for Bethesda to familiarize themselves with the Next Gen system.
Also rumored to be unveiled next week are The Evil Within 2, Wolfenstein 2 and a relaunch of the studio's plans for Prey 2. For the last title, development of the sequel was initially given to developer Human Head. Apparently at some point in time, Bethesda turned the project over to Arkane, the developer on Dishonored. Kotaku reported o this development previously but Bethesda attempted to squash those rumors back in 2014 by stating that the game was canceled. Bethesda is also expected to unveil gameplay footage for Dishonored 2 during their E3 panel. The sequel will be released later this year on November 11.
Bethesda takes the stage this Sunday, June 12. Check back to see if these rumors proved true.
