TOM CLANCY'S THE DIVISION 2 Tidal Basin Update Arrives On April 5
Tom Clancy's The Division 2's Tidal Basin update arrives this week, unlocking the new Black Tusk stronghold which, upon completing, will open up World Tier 5.
For Division agents who are in world Tier 4 and already equipped with weapons and armor that's rated 450 Gear Score, Ubisoft will soon introduce a new set of challenges for The Division 2 in the form of the Tidal Basin stronghold and World Tier 5.
Upon beating the main story of The Division 2, you probably noticed a fourth stronghold, Tidal Basin, that isn't unlocked yet. This is the first bit of Ubisoft's post-launch content plans for The Division 2 and it's set to arrive on Friday, April 5.
The Tidal Basin update for The Division 2 is completely free and will unlock the new stronghold held by the dangerous Black Tusk faction, who arrive in Washington D.C. once you complete the main story missions and strongholds. Ubisoft hasn't revealed the Gear Score requirement for Tidal Basin, but 400 is the expected ballpark number.
Once you clear the Tidal Basin, you'll also unlock World Tier 5 where you can take on a greater challenge and earn even more powerful gear that can boost you up to 500 Gear Score. It's unclear exactly what that powerful gear will be used for next, but Ubisoft does have big plans to release three episodes' worth of free content for The Division 2 over the course of the next year.
