This year's roadmap will include three hefty updates that will independently come with their own content. These are: Wild Appalachia, Nuclear Winter, and Wastelanders. The first update, Wild Appalachia, is coming on March 12th and Bethesda made sure to give us enough information on it to get us excited. It will bring brewing and distilling as a new feature as well as a limited-time event, the Fasnacht Parade, that will supposedly reward players with Fasnacht Masks if they are able to complete it. Both of these coming March 19th.
Don’t forget about the new Survival mode that had been previously spoken about coming March 26th. They describe it as a "higher-stakes PvP experience with fewer restrictions, increased rewards, and new challenges". We will also be receiving player-built vending machines as well as new quests in which players will have to "uncover the 'encryptid' secrets of the Appalachia", on April 9th.
Nuclear Winter will be coming with a new game mode, Vault raids through Vaults 96 and 94 as well as a new prestige system that will allow players with level over 50 to reset their characters and bring “all new more powerful abilities”, releasing in summer. The third update, Wastelanders, will have a "new main quest, new events, new features, and more", not too much information on it probably because it is still far away with an autumn release.
"Thanks again for sticking with us. It's a privilege to have such passionate and caring fans," the publisher's post concluded. "We have big plans for 2019 and we'd love to hear your continued feedback on everything we're doing... Your voices push us to do better and your support has meant everything to us. We'll do our best to earn it."
