The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is still a couple of months away from releasing, although the developers have already revealed that it will become available just in time for Halloween, landing on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Friday the 30th of October.
Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco initially teased the game in August of last year — with a short, albeit terrifying trailer — but it was just back in April of this year that the developers released the first reveal trailer for The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope, and revealed the game's new setting/time period.
The developers had also revealed that Pip Torrens would be back as The Curator, and that the game's new protagonist would be played this time by British actor Will Poulter.
In a recent behind the scenes video released by Bandai Namco, Poulter has revealed some very interesting details about his work on The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope; particularly explaining why this game is so appealing to him as an actor, and what drew him to want to be part of it.
Interestingly enough, Poulter reveals that one of the best aspects about working on The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope was that he got the chance to see the multiple choices his characters(yes, he's playing more than one) made due to the nature of the series' interactive storytelling; the exact same reason players like the series.
Give it a watch:
Little Hope is the second game in The Dark Pictures Anthology. Trapped and isolated in the abandoned town of Little Hope, 4 college students and their professor must escape the nightmarish apparitions that relentlessly pursue them through an impenetrable fog.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope is expected to release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on Friday the 30th of October.
