Minecraft Dungeons is one of those games that players never asked for, but that it was just the kind of thing that they didn't know they wanted. It is set in the world of Minecraft, but it is not an open world experience in the same way that the original game is.
The developers at Mojang Studios have done their best to keep their new dungeon crawler title brimming with content. Earlier this year, it was revealed that Minecraft Dungeons would be getting additional content in the form of paid DLC; starting with the Jungle Awakens expansion.
With the Jungle Awakens announcement, Mojang Studios also revealed that the second DLC would be called Minecraft Dungeons: Creeping Winter, but they didnt' really reveal anything in regard to this upcoming expansion; that is, until last week — when juicy details about the DLC were finally revealed.
Today we have some great news for Minecraft Dungeons players, as the Creeping Winter DLC has finally become available today, and it's bringing with it some new merchants, an item-upgrading blacksmith, and even a gift wrapper to make multiplayer trading even more pleasant.
According to the information shared by Mojang Studios, a free update has also been added to Minecraft Dungeons, which includes Daily Trials, which will see players taking on challenging, well, trials, that will allow them to get better gear, and all of that good stuff.
It is also worth reminding players that they can upgrade the standard edition of Minecraft Dungeons to the Hero Pass and get both the Jungle Awakens and Creeping Winter expansions.
