Minecraft Dungeons was released in May of this year for pretty much every platform out there, and Mojang Studios has been constantly supporting the game ever since. Not long after the game was released, in fact, the developer revealed that additional content would be added in the coming months.
The first DLC that Mojang Studios revealed for Minecrat Dungeons was called Jungle Awakens, although they also announced that the second expansion would be called Creeping Winter; besides the name reveal, not much was shared about the second DLC.
Jungle Awakens and Creeping Winter were released in the months of July and September, respectively, and earlier this month Mojang Studios announced that there's even more to come; revealing that a third DLC called Howling Peaks will be releasing at some point in December.
But what exactly is Howling Peaks? Mojang Studios didn't reveal much about this new expansion, but today they have shared a developer diary that not only shows off some gameplay, but also has the developers themselves revealing some very interesting details about the expansion as a whole.
What's probably the biggest change, or the one most players will likely appreciate, is the addition of the Apocalypse Plus mode, which will add 20 new difficulties for players who want a real challenge. Unfortunately, they still haven't revealed the official release date in which Howling Peaks will become available in Minecraft Dungeons, so we'll have to keep waiting until Mojang Studios shares more information about it.
