Mojang Studios has been consistently supporting Minecraft Dungeons. The developer has already released the Jungle Awakens and Creeping Winter expansions, and they have Howling Peaks scheduled to release at some point in December.
Besides the expansions mentioned above, Mojang Studios has already confirmed that even more content is expected to be released for Minecraft Dungeons next year, so it doesn't look like support for the game is stopping any time soon, which is always welcomed by fans.
When Mojang Studios revealed that Howling Peaks was the third expansion to be released for the game, they also took the opportunity to reveal that cross-play multiplayer would be added to Minecraft Dungeons in November, but unfortunately they didn't say exactly when that would be.
Today we have some great news, as Mojang Studios has finlly revealed that cross-platform multiplayer will be implemented next week, becoming available on Tuesday the 17th of November, to be more precise, and allowing PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and Windows players to go on Minecraft Dungeons' procedurally generated adventure together.
When a lonely, outcast Illager stumbles upon a mysterious object with terrifying powers, his entire existence is turned upside down. Before long, he finds himself on a path of evil, causing mayhem across the Overworld. Who can stop him?
